Shipping policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy explains the delivery, collection and staffed-service arrangements for orders placed with Bradleys of Maghera, trading as Bradley’s Catering.

Please read this policy alongside our Terms of Service and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Advance ordering

Unless a product page states otherwise, outside-catering orders require at least 48 hours’ notice.

Certain large orders, staffed events or specially prepared products may require additional notice. We will confirm any additional requirements before accepting the order.

Available delivery and collection dates may become unavailable once our production or delivery capacity has been reached.

2. Choosing delivery or collection

Where available, you must select either:

  • Local Delivery; or
  • Collection

You must also select an available date and time or time window before completing your order.

The delivery or collection details shown in your order confirmation form part of your order. Online sellers must confirm the contract in a format the customer can retain, such as an email, and fulfil the order within the agreed period.

Please review your confirmation carefully and contact us promptly if any details are incorrect.

3. Local delivery

Local delivery is available only:

  • within the delivery area accepted during checkout;
  • on the dates and times displayed;
  • where the required preparation period has been met; and
  • where any applicable minimum order or delivery charge has been satisfied.

Delivery availability and charges will be shown before you complete your order.

You are responsible for providing:

  • a complete and accurate delivery address;
  • the correct postcode;
  • a working telephone number;
  • relevant access instructions; and
  • any other information reasonably required to complete the delivery.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive the order during the selected delivery time or delivery window.

4. Delivery times

We will take reasonable steps to deliver your order at the selected time or within the selected delivery window.

However, delivery times may occasionally be affected by:

  • traffic or road closures;
  • severe weather;
  • access difficulties;
  • delays at previous deliveries;
  • equipment or vehicle problems; or
  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please contact us before ordering where delivery by an exact time is essential for an event. An exact delivery time is only guaranteed where we have expressly confirmed it in writing.

If we expect a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the details supplied with the order.

5. Changes to delivery arrangements

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change:

  • the delivery address;
  • the delivery date;
  • the delivery time;
  • access instructions; or
  • another part of the delivery arrangement.

Email: catering@bradleysofmaghera.com

Please include your name and order number.

We will do our best to accommodate changes, but changes cannot be guaranteed once:

  • preparation has started;
  • the applicable ordering cut-off has passed;
  • delivery routes have been arranged;
  • staff have been scheduled; or
  • the order is close to its agreed delivery time.

Additional charges may apply where a requested change increases the delivery distance, staffing requirement or other cost. We will agree any additional charge with you before accepting the change.

6. Unsuccessful delivery

If we cannot complete delivery because:

  • the address is incorrect or incomplete;
  • nobody is available to receive the order;
  • we cannot contact you;
  • access to the property is unavailable or unsafe; or
  • important delivery instructions were not supplied,

we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.

Where practical, we may arrange another delivery attempt or make the order available for collection. An additional delivery charge may apply.

Because our products are freshly prepared and perishable, a refund may not be available where the order was prepared correctly but could not be delivered due to circumstances caused by the customer.

Any amount retained will reflect the reasonable costs and losses arising from the unsuccessful delivery.

7. Collection orders

Collection orders must be collected:

  • from the location shown in your confirmation;
  • on the selected date; and
  • during the selected collection time or collection window.

Our collection address is:

Bradleys of Maghera
19 Coleraine Road
Maghera
BT46 5AA
United Kingdom

Please bring your order number or another means of identifying the order.

Contact us as soon as possible if you expect to be late.

Because the food is freshly prepared and perishable:

  • we cannot guarantee its temperature or quality after the agreed collection period;
  • some products may need to be disposed of for food-safety reasons if they remain uncollected; and
  • a refund may not be available where an order was correctly prepared but was not collected.

This does not affect your rights where an order is faulty, unsafe, incomplete, incorrect or not as described.

8. Sunday Lunch collection

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sunday Lunch orders are:

  • available for collection only;
  • available only on the Sundays shown during ordering;
  • subject to the ordering cut-off displayed on the website; and
  • subject to available collection times and production capacity.

You must select an available Sunday collection time before completing your order.

Sunday Lunch products may need to be ordered separately from outside-catering products because they have different preparation and fulfilment arrangements.

9. Staffed catering service

Where staffed service has been specifically selected and confirmed, our team will attend the agreed location to set up and serve the food in accordance with the arrangements confirmed for your event.

Our catering staff will be appropriately trained and uniformed.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • we can access the venue at the agreed time;
  • there is a safe and suitable area for setup and service;
  • any agreed facilities, tables, electricity or water supplies are available;
  • venue staff are aware of our arrival; and
  • any access, parking or venue restrictions have been communicated in advance.

The service start time, staff attendance period and expected guest numbers should be agreed before the event.

Changes to guest numbers, timings or service requirements may affect availability and price.

10. Hot plates and catering equipment

Where hot plates, serving equipment or other catering equipment have been selected and confirmed, we will bring and set up the agreed equipment in time for the event, subject to suitable access and facilities being available.

The customer must tell us in advance about:

  • stairs or restricted access;
  • limited parking or unloading arrangements;
  • venue restrictions;
  • unsuitable electrical supplies;
  • outdoor service areas; or
  • any other issue that could affect safe setup.

We may decline to install or operate equipment where we reasonably believe that the location, access or facilities are unsafe.

Any arrangements for leaving, returning or collecting equipment will be agreed with you separately where applicable.

11. Food safety after delivery or collection

You are responsible for following any storage, serving, use-by and reheating instructions supplied with the order.

Chilled food should be refrigerated promptly unless it is intended for immediate consumption.

After delivery or collection, we cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by:

  • unsuitable transportation;
  • unsuitable storage;
  • prolonged time at room temperature;
  • failure to follow reheating instructions;
  • contamination after the food was supplied; or
  • consumption after a stated use-by time or date.

This does not affect our responsibility for any defect or safety issue that existed when the food was supplied.

Food sold online or for delivery remains subject to food-safety, hygiene and allergen-information requirements.

12. Problems with delivery or collection

Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered or collected.

Contact us promptly if:

  • your order has not arrived;
  • an item is missing;
  • you received an incorrect item;
  • the food is damaged or unsuitable;
  • an agreed dietary requirement has not been followed; or
  • you have another concern about the order.

Where possible, provide:

  • your name;
  • order number;
  • a description of the issue;
  • photographs of affected items; and
  • details of how the food was stored after delivery or collection.

If you believe any food may be unsafe, please do not consume it.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, corrected item, partial refund, full refund or another appropriate resolution.

13. Events outside our control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather;
  • road closures;
  • fire or flooding;
  • utility failure;
  • vehicle or equipment breakdown;
  • serious staff illness or emergency;
  • government restrictions; or
  • significant supplier disruption that could not reasonably have been avoided.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where we cannot fulfil a material part of the order, we will offer an appropriate alternative, revised arrangement, rescheduled date or refund for the part we cannot supply.
